If you send us a review or feedback through the website, we collect the name, rating, and message you submit. Our staff also keep operational records of orders (items, amounts, order status, and payment method) as part of running the restaurant. The website and our hosting providers automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, in server logs used to operate and secure the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to prepare and deliver your order, contact you about it by phone when needed, run the restaurant (kitchen, delivery, and accounts records), and respond to feedback. We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers or other third parties.
3. Who Can Access Your Information
Your order details are visible to authorized Dough Dai staff who need them to serve you. We also rely on service providers that process data only to run this website: our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider (Neon), and our image-storage provider (Cloudinary). Web fonts used by this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives standard technical request data (such as your IP address) when a page loads. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
This website stores your shopping cart in your browser's local storage so it is still there when you return. Staff sign-in uses a session cookie that is required for the dashboard to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. How Long We Keep Information
Order records are kept for as long as needed for the restaurant's operations and accounting. Feedback submissions are kept until they are reviewed and, if approved, displayed; you can ask us to remove your feedback or your order contact details at any time using the contact information below, and we will delete them unless we must keep a record by law.
6. Security
We protect this website with encrypted (HTTPS) connections, hashed staff passwords, and access controls that limit customer information to authorized staff. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information (such as card numbers) through order notes or feedback — we never ask for payment card details on this website.
